It’s amazing what you can expect from budget TVs these days. The Toshiba C350 is a perfect example of this. It’s a 4K TV with Dolby Vision HDR, comes with the Fire TV operating system, has Alexa voice assistant built-in, and supports Apple AirPlay so you can stream to it straight from your iPhone. The Toshiba C350 43-inch series currently costs $159.99 (originally $279.99). According to price checkers , this is the lowest price for the TV since its release.
Toshiba C350 is a budget TV released in 2023, the second generation of the 2021 version of the same name . This is Toshiba’s first line of TVs and they have packed it with so many features that are reasonable for a budget TV. This second-generation TV’s list price is much lower than the 2021 version, almost half, but its current deal brings it down further to a price range where it’s hard to find much competition.
The viewing angle of this TV is excellent – you can set it in front of a long sofa or watch it from the kitchen without feeling like you’re missing out on anything. If you like your home to be bright, this TV also handles screen reflections well. Color accuracy is also excellent, without the need for any complex calibration settings. If you like to play video games, the input lag is only 15.5ms, which is very good, especially for a budget TV. It can also be used as a PC monitor for gaming using Game Mode or “PC” (Picture Mode) in Settings.
Where Toshiba has made concessions with this TV is in its contrast: blacks lack depth and uniformity. Peak brightness is also unimpressive and there is no local dimming. But you can expect some drawbacks from a smart budget 4K TV.
