These Eight Outdoor Security Cameras Are up for Sale in Honor of Prime Day
Buying your first outdoor security camera may seem like a big step forward, but over the past few years I’ve found that I rarely use cameras for real security. Instead, it’s great to be able to see if my dog is in the backyard, if the gate is open, or get alerts when friends show up or I have a package delivered. The truth is, these cameras aren’t just for intruders—they capture the life going on behind your door. While I haven’t tested some of these cameras, these are the best deals I’ve found on outdoor security cameras during Prime Day if you’re looking to purchase one for your home for the first time.
Yufi Solokams
If you ask me which cameras to buy, I’ll tell you that I rely on eufy Solocams when I’m not testing other cameras. I love the dual lenses and 360 degree field of view. Additionally, you can store clips locally if you have an eufy backup center.

REOLINK 5 GHz CCTV Cameras
While I haven’t tested this model, I’m currently using a similar solar-powered Reolink model and have been very impressed with how well this solar panel retains its charge. The Reolink app isn’t my favorite, but I still think the camera resolution is excellent, the feed appears quickly, and overall I have very few complaints. If you’re installing a wireless camera, it’s hard to get a 50+% discount.

REOLINK 5GHz Outdoor Security Cameras + Solar Panel: Was $499, now $219.99.
Outdoor 4 Blink Cameras
The Blink cameras are a bit basic compared to other high-end security cameras, but at $39.99 they are a bargain, trust me. I found them to be very easy to install, retain decent battery life, and have a pretty good field of view. The resolution is excellent and the system is expandable, which I really like. Tip: Buy a sync module so you can store clips locally without having to subscribe.

Blink Outdoor 4 Camera : Was $99.99, now $39.99.
Cam Plus and Ring Stick Up Cam Kit
Earlier this year I used this video camera to figure out how my dog was getting out of the backyard and there were two things I really liked about it. The camera began recording at lightning speed after detecting movement (it was a windy Doberman, he was so fast). Secondly, the resolution was stunning. Although it looks like a camera sitting on a shelf, it actually attaches easily to fences and other vertical structures. A wired spotlight is essentially the same camera as a spotlight.
-
Ring Floodlight Cam Plus and Ring Stick Up Cam Bundle : Was $299.98, now $159.99.
Google Nest Cam outdoors or indoors
While I haven’t tested the Nest Cam, I like its modern design and the fact that it doesn’t require a subscription. If you’re tied into the Google ecosystem, these cameras make a lot of sense. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a Gmail account—you won’t be able to link it to another email type.
-
Google Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor : Previously $179.99, now $117.79.
AOSU Wired Floodlight Camera
I like a pan/tilt outdoor camera where the eye in the sky can be controlled remotely to narrow in on different areas of your yard. AOSU is a relatively new product on the market that I will have the opportunity to test next month. Opening the box, it’s a solid design and I’m looking forward to seeing how it stacks up against my favorite Eufy Solocams. Thanks to this design, you get a 360-degree field of view and a floodlight with a power of 2600 lumens.
-
AOSU Wired Floodlight Camera : Was $159.99, now $127.99.
Ring wire floodlight camera
It’s hard to get 40% off, and as someone who has a lot of Ring products around the house, I like the level of notifications I can achieve with some tweaks to my camera settings. This 1080p camera has two-way communication in addition to a security siren.
-
Ring Floodlight Wired Camera : Was $199.99, now $119.99.
Blink Wireless Outdoor Cameras with 4 Floodlights
This latest 50% discount is hard to beat. I tested this floodlight model and really liked the camera’s high resolution and ease of installation. Replacing the battery is also quite simple: just remove the camera. The light was a nice touch, illuminating the spaces as I walked through them.
