Prime Day is right around the corner on July 16 and 17, but if headphones are on your wish list, you might not have to wait that long. Best deal on noise-canceling headphones ahead of Prime Day
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II aren’t Bose’s newest active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones (they’re the Bose QuietComfort Ultra ), but the Comfort Earbuds II are still one of the best active noise-canceling headphones on the market. For $169 (originally $279), you get the same ANC as the QuietComfort Ultra for nearly half the price, although there are a few caveats. There’s no way to turn off ANC on these headphones, but you can always turn on Aware mode if you want to hear your surroundings. You’ll also get six to seven hours of battery life with these headphones, but the charging case can provide about 18 hours of additional battery life.

If you’re in the market for AirPods, consider Apple AirPods Max, starting at $449 (originally $549), depending on color. This, of course, is still expensive, but they rarely appear on sale at all.
If you’re looking to spend less on your AirPods, consider the 2nd generation Apple AirPods , currently $79.99 (originally $129). Yes, these aren’t the latest AirPods, but at $80 they’re still a bargain.
Best on-ear headphone deal to start Prime Day
The best third-party in-ear headphones are the Sennheiser Momentum 4 , currently $249.95 (originally $379.95). These headphones came out in 2022 and were among the best active noise-canceling headphones this year, according to an “excellent” review from PCMag . If you’re looking for great sound with strong bass, detailed treble, codec support for your phone, and easy controls, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 at its current price is your best bet. That’s less than $10 off the lowest price ever, so you’re getting a good deal. These headphones have an impressive 60-hour battery life and the ability to connect to a 3.5mm stereo cord.
