Organizing accessories like shoes , bags and belts is an important part of keeping your home tidy and looking its best, but how you store your jewelry may be the most important of all. Whether you need access to a certain item that you only wear on special occasions, or you have a ton of interchangeable items that you mix and match every day, you need it all somewhere accessible and safe. First: a storage mirror. I have recommended these things at least twice before and will continue to recommend them because they are that good. A few months ago I got a lighted mirror that opens up to reveal shelves, pockets, hooks and more – and I’m truly obsessed with it. There are dedicated spaces for stud earrings, drop earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings, as well as other shelves and pockets that I use for hair products and accessories. I also use one of the clear pockets for my piercing jewelry since I haven’t found a jewelry box or storage container that has a convenient solution for them.
I love it and am thrilled with the purchase, although I found it a little pricey. The light can be made cooler, warmer, dimmer or brighter, so it’s the perfect multi-functional prep tool. Before I got this I had an earring hanger. I still use it for overflowing from a storage mirror. What I like about this is that, unlike some earring holders, I don’t have to remove the back of the earrings and reattach them to the stand to keep them in place; There are large holes with grooves that allow me to insert the earring backwards.
