My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Yeedi C12 PRO Plus
The robot vacuum cleaner industry is a cutthroat one, with companies quickly releasing new robot vacuum cleaners that outperform the competition in features and price. Today you have the choice of all sorts of alternatives to iRobot’s “classic” vacuum cleaners, which are quickly falling behind the competition. The C12 PRO Plus is Yeedi’s newest vacuum cleaner, and it’s worth the money: It’s currently $349 (originally $599) after a $150 coupon.
The Yeedi C12 PRO Plus has a combination of features you won’t find in any robot vacuum under $350: a self-emptying dust bin that can last up to seven weeks before needing to be emptied; The suction power is 8000 pascals, which is impressive for its price; a mop that cleans the floor 480 times per minute with a downward force and can remove several dry spots from the floor; smart mapping of your home; ability to set schedules; enhanced carpet suction; anti-tangle technology on the roller; and battery capacity up to five hours.
A handy feature of this robot vacuum is that you don’t need to buy dust bags for it – you can empty the dirt just like you would with a regular vacuum cleaner (press the release button and the dirt falls from the bottom). It’s a simple money-saving feature that makes you wonder why other companies don’t do the same.
The vacuum’s mop function works well and is superior to the Roomba Combo j5+ robot vacuum and mop I’ve previously used at home. The vacuum also picks up debris that my Roomba doesn’t usually pick up. Installing the application was painless and took about 10 minutes. Creating a map of my 1,300 square foot home also took about 10 minutes, which is much faster than the Roomba.
