How to Talk to a Real Person at Amazon Customer Service
Amazon is one of the largest retailers in the world, and so it can be quite difficult to get past the FAQs, user forums and Reddit threads and talk to a person on the phone. As you probably already know when trying to contact someone on Amazon’s Contact page, there is no direct number to call. This is by design. Luckily, there are other, quicker ways to connect with someone who can listen to your specific concerns, which may be helpful to keep in mind as Prime Day approaches.

Say ” Request a phone call” in the customer service chat.

As you can see from the screenshot, it takes a few chat attempts before the machine gives you the callback option, but it’s not something a little persistence couldn’t fix.
