With the release of Google’s Pixel 8 lineup last fall, the Pixel 7 lineup has understandably lost some of its luster. But these are still great phones, very attractive at a reasonable price – and I’d say Woot has nailed it.

When the Google Pixel 7 Pro launched in October 2022, our friends at PCMag named it the best Android phone on the market and gave it an “Excellent” rating . Overall, Pixel phones are impressive devices and my favorite smartphones. My Pixel 6a still works well, although at this price I would consider upgrading if it was giving me any problems at all. Alas, I’ll have to restrain myself for a while longer: As Google continues to offer security patches for older Pixels, as well as quarterly feature updates (including the ability to “circle to search”) , my 6a will be well supported for many years to come.
