My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Anker Nebula Portable Solar Projector
Anker Nebula has been making some of the best portable projectors for years. One of the best portable mini projectors is the Anker Nebula Solar Portable , which you can get right now for $249.99 (originally $459.99) after 46% off. Don’t be fooled by the name; There’s nothing sunny about this projector, but it’s very bright, can shoot in 4K, and has a ton of other features that make it stand out from other portable projectors.
The Anker Nebula Solar Portable was expensive when it came out in 2021, and for good reason. According to PCMag’s “excellent” review , it was the only portable mini projector among reputable brands that was 4K compatible and had up to three hours of battery life. Although the projector has a native resolution of 1080p (1920 by 1080), it defaults to 4K resolution (3840 by 2160) and up to 60Hz. You won’t find other portable 4K mini projectors from respectable brands under $300, making this my favorite deal on Amazon to date.
400 ANSI lumens of brightness means you can watch movies and shows in your living room with moderate lighting without having to be in pitch darkness. (Of course, the darker your room, the better the image will look.) The projector’s battery can last up to three hours in battery saver mode, but you can always play it on AC power if you want a long night of binge-watching. Built-in Android TV 9 and Wi-Fi let you wirelessly stream/cast media from your phone while you’re on the same Wi-Fi, much like Chromecast or AirPlay. You also have the option to connect media files via HDMI or USB Type-A (but you need to download ES File Explorer from Google Play to do this).
