What’s New on Paramount+ and Showtime in April 2024

Paramount+ viewers can kick off April with the premiere of the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery on April 4, ending the 65-episode run that revamped the sci-fi franchise in 2017. The fourth season of The Challenge will also be released. : All Stars (April 10), a reality show that this time brings former players together to come face to face in South Africa. There’s also CTRL+ALT+DESIRE (April 16), a three-part docuseries about the manhunt for Grant Amato after his family members were murdered.

For Paramount + With Showtime subscribers, there’s Talk to Me (April 1), a supernatural horror film from A24 about a group of friends who use an embalmed hand to communicate with the spirit world.

Paramount+’s live broadcasts will begin with the CMT Music Awards (airing April 7), followed by a live broadcast of The Masters beginning April 8. There will also be “The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden – The Greatest Arena Run of All Time ” (April 14 at 9:00 pm ET), a live broadcast of the artist’s 100th sold-out concert at his MSG residency.

Everything else will go into service in April. Please note that titles marked with an asterisk are exclusive to Paramount+With Showtime; everything else is also available to ad-supported plan subscribers. Those marked with two stars are available to Paramount+ With Showtime customers streaming live on CBS, as well as all next-day subscribers.
