The Netflix original filmSpaceman showcases a deeper side of Sandler, featuring him as Jakub, an astronaut adrift in both outer space and his personal life. Six months after a solitary exploration mission to the outskirts of the solar system, Yakub finds his Earthly marriage crumbling and finds solace and advice in an unlikely source: Hanush, an ancient arachnid alien holed up on his ship. The film is directed by Johan Renck, who won an Emmy Award for HBO’s Chernobyl, and co-stars Carey Mulligan.

There are plenty of TV shows and films celebrating the golden age of British aristocracy, but inheriting a title and estate is a new kind of nightmare in The Gentlemen . When Eddie moves into his family’s ancestral mansion, he discovers it is a crumbling money pit inhabited by a gang of drug dealers. With no serfs to burn to keep warm, Eddie turns to crime to survive. Netflix advertises this series as “Old Money meets Drug Money” and that’s enough to make me click, but the series was created and directed by Guy ” Two Smoking Guns ” Ritchie, so I might even double-click on it.

To contrast sci-fi and fantasy, Netflix is releasing the old-fashioned romantic comedy Irish Desire just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Lindsay Lohan plays Maddie Kelly, a shy, lonely book editor and perpetual bridesmaid pining for her best friend’s fiance. At her friend’s wedding in Ireland, Maddie makes a wish that magically comes true and wakes up in an alternate reality where she is about to walk down the aisle. As you might imagine, Maddie soon learns the true meaning of the old saying, “be careful what you wish for.”

Netflix Slam
Netflix is kicking off live tennis with a blockbuster exhibition match that could make sports history. Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal, two Spanish athletes with history and a classic rivalry, will meet in Las Vegas. Nadal is a veteran champion; his rival Alcaraz is a fiery young upstart bent on winning the crown. A classic drama played out on the set.

Bonnie and Clyde (1967)
You won’t find a better movie to watch this month (or any month) than Bonnie and Clyde. Arthur Penn’s 1967 crime drama starred Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty and practically invented the film noir genre. The story of the crime spree and romance between Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker served as the basis for stylish, violent films like Natural Born Killers, Thelma & Louise and everything Tarantino ever made. If you want to hear the other side of the B&C story, the Netflix movieThe Highwaymen depicts the guys who caught Bonnie and Clyde (but it’s a so-so movie).

This disturbing documentary details the frightening world of the “troubled teen” industry, where children are abducted and forced to live in squalid conditions in often abusive institutions, all with the blessing of their parents. Through interviews with traumatized survivors, “The Program: Adversaries, Cults and Abductions” unearths copious dirt on Ivy Ridge Academy in Ogdensburg, New Jersey, a “disciplinary boarding school” that was rocked by allegations of abuse and torture before it was closed in 2009.

I am morally and professionally against golf and everything connected with it, but I am ready to change my mind. A lot of people love the sport, and this docuseries about a diverse group of professional golfers competing at the sport’s biggest events might be enough to change my mind. To add some drama, it’s a Ryder Cup year and the PGA is in a state of flux after reaching a partnership agreement with the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, sponsor of LIV Golf.

Supersex is a Netflix original biographical series that details the life of porn star Rocco Siffredi, who rose from humble roots in a small Italian village to the heights of unique fame as an iconic international sex celebrity. The series was created and written by Francesca Manieri, whose previous show We Are Who We Are was as inclusive, awakening and feminist as anything else, so it should be a very interesting look at Siffredi’s life and profession.

In this Korean Netflix comedy, a father accidentally turns his daughter into a chicken nugget. I didn’t make this up; that’s exactly what happens inChicken Nuggets . I haven’t seen it yet, but I can confidently call Chicken Nugget the greatest movie ever made.

Director Halina Rein’s Gen-Z horror filmBodies, Bodies, Bodies is like the euphoria of murder. Sometimes you want to watch a TV show about whether various things are cake or not, and“Is that cake?” by far the best series ever created based on this concept. Incredibly skilled bakers from across the country compete for cash prizes by creating realistic yet edible versions of everyday items in the hopes of fooling a panel of judges. Saturday Night Live ‘s Mikey Day returns as host, and guest judges include Jay Pharoah, Lauren Lapkus, London Hughes, Oscar Nunes and many more.
