There’s no denying how big TikTok has become around the world. TikTok has over 1 billion monthly active users and offers a ton of content for you to enjoy. And if you have been waiting to watch TikTok on your TVs, now is your chance as Google has finally brought the ability to stream TikTok on your TV.

If you want to watch your favorite TikToks on TV, you need to fulfill a few requirements. First, you’ll need a Chromecast device as Google added the ability to stream TikTok to Chromecast during CES 2024.
There are many Chromecast dongles you can buy, or you may already have a Chromecast-compatible TV. You’ll have to check. However, if you have a Chromecast device, make sure it’s set up so you can start casting your favorite TikToks to the big screen.

First, open TikTok and search the app for the video you want to stream.

Click “Share” in the lower right corner.

Click Broadcast in the list of options. You may have to scroll to find it.

Now select the Chromecast device you want to cast the video to and enjoy.
TikTok will also support TikTok LIVE video streaming very soon, and Google is expanding the number of devices with Chromecast built-in, including adding it to LG’s 2024 TV lineup. So if you don’t already have a TV with Chromecast built-in, it’s likely that you’ll have more opportunities to buy one in the future.
You can also stream TikTok to your TV from an Apple device using screen mirroring, although the easiest way to do this is to connect your phone directly to your TV using a Lightning to HDMI cable. This isn’t always a good option, but it’s better than nothing if you don’t have a Chromecast-compatible device.
