How to Delete an Entire Page in Microsoft Word
You can delete an entire page in Microsoft Word, even if it contains elements such as text or graphics. Moreover, it is much easier to do this than to highlight everything, step back and pray that everything works out. It turns out that Word has a built-in function that simply destroys the entire page.
How to Delete a Page in Word on Windows
If you’re using Windows, place your cursor anywhere on the page you want to get rid of, then press Ctrl+G. You will be shown the “Enter Page Number” field in which you must enter “\page”. How to Delete a Page in Word on Mac
If you’re using macOS, the process for deleting an entire page is similar. Click anywhere on the page you want to delete, then press Option+⌘+G on your keyboard. The next steps are the same: in the “Enter page number” field, enter “\page”. Press Enter, select Close, make sure the page is selected, and press the Delete button on your keyboard.
Things to consider when deleting pages in Word
Be careful, of course. While you can “undo” the deletion if you need the contents of that page later, you might not want to click the undo button hundreds of times to get it back. It might be worth taking the time to save a backup file in Word, or even something simpler like Google Docs, in case you need that deleted page. Before you proceed with deletion, email yourself a copy of the document so that you have the older version available without it cluttering up space on your computer.
