These Are Amazon’s Best Early Black Friday Deals on Soundbars
Audiophile snobs may insist on custom speaker placement, but the humble soundbar’s minimalist design has an elegant appeal. They don’t require a mess of speaker wires to work, are easy to install, and sound much better than the sound that came with your TV.
If you’re thinking about buying a soundbar for yourself or someone else this holiday season, Amazon has a ton of sales on early Black Friday deals. Below are five great deals on soundbars at all price points.
JBL Bar 1300X: 11.1.4 channel soundbar
I’ll start with JBL’s top-of-the-line unit, which straddles the line between a soundbar and a true surround sound system. It features two detachable wireless speakers that can be placed behind you for a more immersive surround sound experience, and its “advanced drivers” support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for “enhanced 3D surround sound.” So it’s a high quality item with a lot of bells and whistles. Is it worth the $999 price tag? I guess it depends on your value system, but no one can deny that it’s 41% off the regular price of $1,699.99.

Soundbar for TV MZEIBO
On the other side of capitalism from the JBL panel is this MZEIBO system. It doesn’t support Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or anything else – it’s just a rectangle that plays sounds. But maybe a sound rectangle is all you need. Plus, you can buy about 17 of these devices for the price of one JBL Bar 1300X. The MZEIBO TV Soundbar will be on sale early on Black Friday for $59.79, which is 63% off its already low regular price.
Bose TV speaker
You might think that $999 is too much to spend on speakers, but you also don’t trust MZEIBO’s sound quality. If so, check out this very respectable Bose TV speaker. It’s a fairly basic unit, but it’s designed to clarify dialogue on your TV, works as a Bluetooth speaker, and is compatible with other Bose gear in case you want to upgrade your sound system in the future. For Black Friday, Amazon has priced it at $199, a savings of 29%.
LG S80QY 3.1.3 channel soundbar
This LG soundbar comes with a subwoofer in case you like bass. According to LG, the S80QY is best if you have an LG TV (but that’s exactly what they said !) It supports IMAX and you can control it via Airplay2, Chromecast, Google and Amazon Alexa. It’s $396.99, which may seem like a lot, but it’s less than half the original price of $899.99—a great deal if you’re the kind of person who wants one of these.

VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Compact Home Theater Soundbar
I’ve always liked VIZIO’s “very cheap but generally ok” gear. Buying electronics under the VIZIO brand means you’re not paying anything extra for a fancy name, but you’re also not getting literally the cheapest thing China can make. It’s the same with the V-Series 2.0 soundbar. It supports DTS Virtual:X like its more expensive siblings and also has an excellent Amazon review aggregation rating, but it’s only $79.99 right now, so you won’t have to spend much to connect it to your TV.
