Roblox Gift Cards Are 40% Off Today at Target
Target’s early Black Friday deals are live now, and one of their limited-time offers will be especially attractive to gamers (and their parents). The retailer is offering 40% off Roblox gift cards for a very limited time—today only, in fact. From now until 2:59 a.m. ET on Friday, November 10, Target will be selling discounted gift cards in-store and online to Target Circle members. Here’s how to close the deal.
What is Roblox?
Roblox is a gaming platform that allows people to be both users (by playing games) and creators (by creating games). The game studio launched in 2006 and has evolved significantly over the years (mostly during the pandemic), starting on PC, moving to Xbox, and, this October, PlayStation. On the platform, you can find a variety of different user-created games for all ages, from RPGs to first-person shooters.
Roblox is its own “metaverse” and you can create an account for free . However, many games allow you to access additional features for a price, which you must pay with in-game currency called Robux. Robux can be used to upgrade your avatar, buy exclusive games, or make in-game purchases. (This may also cause you or your kids to overspend, since the exchange rate is fairly unintuitive , but that’s a separate issue.)
How to Get 40% Off Roblox Gift Cards
Target sells Roblox gift cards through snail mail (physical gift cards) in stores or online, or via email (e-gift cards) online. You can choose to add $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $50, $100, $125, $150 or $200 if you choose to have them emailed to you (will arrive within four hours of purchase) , and stock may vary depending on physical card.
The 40% discount is automatically applied at checkout if you’re signed into your Target Circle account (and if you’re not a member, it’s free to join ). You’re limited to six Target Circle transactions per day, so keep that in mind.
