Amazon is kicking off the holiday shopping season with another Prime Day on October 10, but if you want to score the most eye-popping and money-losing Prime Big Deal Days deals, like the Blink 3-Camera Outdoor Home Security System for $99.99, you can start now.
Instead of being a first-come, first-serve customer on Prime Day, Amazon Prime members can sign up for an invite and take advantage of great deals on select products. Below are registration instructions and an overview of the initial invite-only offerings.
How to Sign Up for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Invitation-Only Deals
To participate in the invitation-only promotion, you must be an Amazon Prime member. Next, you need to visit the page for a product that is on sale, such as the Blink Outdoor Home Security System . Click the “request an invitation” button on the right side of the page and you’ll throw your hat in the ring.
Requesting an invitation does not necessarily mean that you will be able to purchase the product; this gives you the option to buy it only when it goes on sale. If you qualify and receive an invitation, you will receive an email or in-app notification with a unique link during the Prime Big Deal days (October 10-11, 2023). Then you can get a reduced price. You can only purchase one of each item at the invite-only price, but you can sign up for as many invite-only offers as you like.
It is impossible to determine how likely you are to be invited. The number of invitations is limited by how many products from the sale are available for purchase, and there is no way to know how many people will request an invitation, so all anyone can offer is “good luck.”
