You Can Get Infinite Credits Because of This Starfield Glitch
Exploring the vast Starfield galaxy is amazing, but fancy spaceships don’t come cheap, and neither do space apartments. Luckily, there is a glitch in Starfield that will allow you to get enough credits to build an Imperial Fleet.
“Glitch? In a Bethesda game? This can’t be! You might think, but it’s there, I tried it and it works. It’s not hard either, so get the money for the free space before they fix it.
How to find the Starfield puddle hiding infinite credits
To find free money, take your ship to Aquila City on the planet Aquila in the Cheyenne star system.
Head into town and look for Shepherd’s General Store on Main Street on the left.
There are two puddles on the street in front of the store. You’re looking for a smaller one. They’re easy to spot, but if you’re having trouble, you can go straight back from the anemometer to the right of the door in front of Shepherd’s.
Stand behind the smaller puddle, facing the display case, and crouch down.
You may have to move around a bit to find the sweet spot, but when you do, you’ll see all the goods Shepherd sells in his store available for grabs, including thousands of credits, ship parts, weapons, and more. You can grab all the stuff and sell it somewhere else, or just put the money in your pocket and keep the gear; More loans are on the way.
After you clear Shepherd, you can wait 24 hours and his chest will fill up again. Repeat as many times as you like. Repeat until you become the richest astronaut in space and the game’s economic system is completely broken, if you want.
By the way, while this may seem like stealing, it is not considered a crime in the game, so you won’t have to contend with rewards and interference from the Freestar Rangers.
If you are going to do this, do it quickly: it will probably be fixed soon.
Why can you get money from a puddle in Starfield ?
Vendors in Starfield (and other Bethesda games) essentially act as interfaces for chests. Chests are “stored” underneath the map, so players cannot access them. In this case, a gap is accidentally created between the “real” world and the world of game mechanics, through which greedy players can sneak in to extract dirty money.
