How to Pre-Order IPhone 15 for Launch Day
Now that Apple’s Wonderlust event has officially ended, all four models of the iPhone 15 series will soon be available for pre-order. Whether you’re looking to buy the iPhone 15 or 15 Plus , or splurge on one of the 15 Pros , here’s how to order quickly.
What’s new in iPhone 15 and 15 Pro?
The iPhone 15 lineup is similar to last year’s, with the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus featuring dual cameras, with the main camera now upgraded to a 48MP sensor. This year, they will both get the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro, as well as the A16 Bionic chip from the 14 Pro, which will provide faster processing compared to the A15 found in the iPhone 14. Notably, all new iPhones charge via USB-C. , replacing the Lightning port found on every iPhone since 2012.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max include all the new features of the 15, plus a few more. They have a lighter titanium case and a smaller body area. In addition, larger sensors have been added to the three-camera system. The Pro Max features a huge 5x optical zoom lens, exclusive to the most premium phones. The mute switch gives way to an Action button , opening up a whole world of shortcuts. And iPhone Pro supports the faster USB 3 standard, providing data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
How to pre-order the new iPhone 15 or 15 Pro
All four iPhone 15 devices will be available for pre-order at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, September 15th, with shipments beginning a week later on September 22nd. Apple’s online store features all the configurations, prices, and color options, so you can take your time to decide which version you want but can’t place an order yet. You’ll have to wait until Friday morning for that.
The iPhone 15 starts at $799 for 128GB storage, and the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899. You can add $100 to increase storage to 256GB, or 512GB for an additional $300.
The iPhone 15 Pro, on the other hand, starts at $999 and can be upgraded to a maximum storage capacity of 1TB for $1,499. The iPhone 15 Pro Max now starts at $1,199 for 256GB of internal storage. The 1TB model will cost you $1,499 for the 15 Pro and $1,599 for the 15 Pro Max.
