Best Cheap Birthday Parties for Kids Under $50

Children’s birthday parties can be too expensive. I know it’s not exactly hot – we’ve all been to cool clown parties and petting zoos – but I still shudder when I think about the Benjamins I’ve abandoned this year for pizza and video games, which no matter what. I thought that celebrating my oldest child’s birthday would be an affordable event.

When planning my youngest son’s birthday, I know he’ll want something special, but with the holidays approaching, our budget is tight. So I turned to the only place I knew could help us throw him a memorable party: Amazon.

Now that both my sons are into LEGO, I threw a party—with decorations and party favors—with a building block theme that cost about $50 before taxes and shipping. (Note: I didn’t include cake, ice cream, or pizza.) I also prepared a tea party extravaganza for kids who are more into the high society lifestyle.

Note that due to capitalism, prices often fluctuate, so costs can change.
