This Inflatable Hot Tub Is the Only Prime Day Deal I Really Care About
A few years ago I bought an inflatable hot tub. It has changed my life, my brand and my soul. I lived in this thing , hovering around as I chemically changed, sipping ice-cold cans of Diet Coke. It was dirty bag luxury at its finest, and I thought the good times would never end. Then tragedy struck, and not just one.
I broke my ankle in three places, had 14 screws in my bones, and had to spend almost two months at my parents’ house recovering. At the time, the hot tub didn’t get the attention it deserved. Unfortunately, all this happened during the winter months, and a particularly severe cold snap broke the pump. (Or at least I think so. Maybe a raccoon chewed it. I wasn’t here.)
I’m still trying to figure out how to fix the pump – it’s hard to get in there – but I might as well just throw it away and buy a new one. I miss soaking. I miss swimming. I miss enjoyment. You might think that it is of little use in the summer, but you are wrong. All I had to do was bring the temperature down to 83℉ to create a refreshing soaking bath.
Ironically, Amazon refuses to ship some of these hot tubs to me, even though I’ve contacted a few East Coast friends and they don’t have that problem. If you love luxury and aren’t discriminated against by Jeff Bezos himself, I highly recommend grabbing one on Prime Day (which runs July 11th and 12th).
