Once you start looking at higher quality displays, especially if you’re interested in the OLED model, the dollar amounts add up quickly. That’s why it only makes sense to take advantage of discounts when you’re looking for a new TV. If you’re looking for a new LG, Samsung, or even Sony TV, it might just have a Prime Day deal with your name on it.

LG has a small list of TV offerings this year. Four of those discounts are for its 4K OLED, making it more affordable to enjoy the true blacks and deep colors the display technology is known for. Samsung has deals on quite a few of its QLED TVs, ranging from standard offerings to an expensive range of outdoor TVs. QLED TVs use a backlight technology similar to mini LED, which looks great but doesn’t deliver the same contrast ratio as OLED. However, QLEDs are often brighter than OLEDs and tend to cost less, especially when you consider the bargain.
