These Autumn and Winter Flights to Europe Are Already on Sale
Most Scandinavian Airlines flights from the US to Europe for the fall and winter are already on sale: you can find flights starting at $360 to many European cities when you book with Nordic. Flights must take place between October 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024, and you must depart from New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Chicago, or San Francisco. Reservations must be made by June 13th.
How to get discounted Scandinavian Airlines tickets
Go to the Scandinavian Airlines Low Price Calendar to see all available discounted flights. Choose which of the seven major US cities you would like to fly from. Then, in the “To” section, select “Europe” or “Scandinavia.” Below you will find all possible destinations listed by month. Each box will display a price that is an estimate (you’ll need to select specific flight options to get an accurate total), but it gives you an indication of the cheapest months to fly. Select your box and define your outbound and return flight, then proceed to checkout.
Details for sale
The sale is valid for the SAS Go Light tier, which is the airline’s base tier (but you can upgrade to a higher tier). You will be allowed a personal item and large hand luggage. If you want to check the bag, it will cost you $75; but at that point, it’s better to upgrade to the $35 SAS Go Smart tier and get free checked baggage.
There are no codes or coupons to apply at checkout to get this deal. You just need to book by June 13th. The total you see at the bottom of the screen will include taxes and carrier fees.
The sale is for off-season flights, meaning off-season, so you can expect colder weather, fewer crowds, and cheaper rides.
How to maximize your trip
You can maximize your trip by visiting multiple cities if you book to return from another city. You can do this by booking two one-way flights or by using Google Flight’s multi-city feature . Just make sure you’re flying with Scandinavian Airlines to take advantage of this offer. Keep in mind that you will be responsible for transportation between different cities, but traveling in Europe is significantly cheaper than traveling in the United States, especially during the off-season.
