Use This “Tears of the Kingdom” Inventory Glitch for Unlimited Items
There are many items in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom . It carries over core elements from Breath of the Wild, such as food and monster parts, and adds a host of new options, from bomb flowers to Zonai devices. You really can’t have enough items in this game, which is what makes this item duplication glitch so useful.
The glitch, as IGN points out , isn’t necessarily hard to pull off, but it does require precision. My advice: read the instructions first, and then try. If you don’t succeed right away, be patient and try again.
How to get unlimited items in Tears of the Kingdom with an error
First, make sure you have a bow. Draw an arrow by pressing R2, then attach the element you want to duplicate by holding the up button. Personally, I’m not going to pick any brightflower seeds because I have so many of them, but I could have used more bomb flowers so I went along with that.
After putting on the item, wait a bit, press + , then go to the “Bows and Arrows” menu section. Choose the bow you have, then throw it. Without leaving the menu, equip a new bow, then press + twice as quickly as possible. You want to return to the menu without the bow falling to the ground. Now drop the bow you just equipped and finally exit the menu for good.
If done correctly, the two bows should be stacked on top of each other. Take them both, then check your items. You must have one item more than you started.
IGN details two other item duplication efforts – one to duplicate gear in your inventory and the other to copy gear you haven’t come across before. But these methods are more complex and actually run the risk of losing things in the process. For safe item duplication, stick with the first glitch.
There were fears that this glitch would be fixed in the latest version 1.1.1 update, but that doesn’t seem to be the case . Even after installing the update, the game still allows you to copy your items, meaning that Nintendo is either unaware of the glitch or considers it low enough not to fix it yet. Let’s hope they never fix this and let a funny glitch be one of the very few bugs in a remarkably polished game.
