Get These PlayStation Plus Games Before Sony Takes Them Forever
PlayStation 5 owners, listen up: you’re about to lose your chance to play a collection of classic PS4 games for cheap. Sony is shutting down its PlayStation Plus collection, a group of games released between 2014 and 2019. If you want to play 2018’s God of War or Bloodborne “for free” or at least for the lowest possible fee, you need to act. fast.
Sony introduced the PlayStation Plus Collection back in 2020 as an incentive for new PS5 users to sign up for PlayStation Plus. In addition to the various benefits of a PlayStation Plus subscription offered in 2020, your additional reward for sending Sony a monthly payment included access to an exclusive list of great PS4 games. But alas, all good things come to an end: in February, Sony announced that it would no longer be offering the PlayStation Plus collection as of Tuesday, May 9th. outside.
However, the good news is that a PlayStation Plus subscription will allow you to keep access to these games, at least for now. If you’re an active member, or if you sign up today, you can claim them and keep playing as long as you’re an active PlayStation Plus subscriber – just like you can play any of the games in Sony’s monthly updated library.

Persona 5 was once part of the collection, but Sony removed it last May.
At the moment, any PlayStation Plus subscription gives you access to the Collection, so you can choose the cheapest plan (Essential) to check out these games. If you miss the deadline, you can still access some of the games on the list, like Bloodborne , Resident Evil 7: Biohazard , Batman: Arkham Knight , The Last Guardian , God of War , Uncharted 4 , and Fallout 4 , if you’re in the spring for Extra or Premium subscription levels. The cheapest and most convenient way to access all 19 games in the collection is to subscribe to the Essential plan today.
How to apply for PlayStation Plus games before Sony’s May 9th deadline
To find the PlayStation Plus Collection , first open the PlayStation Store on PS5, go to Collections, then scroll through the list until you find the PlayStation Plus Collection. (You can also find it on the PlayStation Plus tab and then scroll to the bottom of the page). To access games after May 9th, you will need to claim each game. Just select each title and then add to your library. You don’t need to download them now as you can do that later.
