My Bike Shop , a Maryland-based bike shop, has closed its doors and is currently liquidating its inventory, up to 95% of which is hosted on its website . According to the Baltimore Sun, the site launched in 2014, initially buying up old bikes and parts from athletes, as well as sold-out merchandise from manufacturers. But now the high-end store is liquidating all of its stock by March 17: all sales are final and you’ll get free shipping on orders over $99.
What is sold in My Bike Shop?
The bike shop sells everything from helmets and lights to riding clothes, but mostly you’ll find single parts. On sale you can find almost any part for a bicycle; At the time of this writing, there were 463 items on sale. Keep in mind, however, that many of these brands are high-quality parts for serious bikers – prices are higher than at a store like Dick’s Sporting Goods.
