Get CityPASS Tickets With up to 53% Discount in These Cities Now
CityPASS is a one price ticket package for select cities that gives you access to some of their top attractions at discounted prices: and right now their tickets are up to 53% off.
While tickets may give you a discount, don’t believe everything the website tells you: the savings aren’t as big as they claim (more on that later). However, if you are planning on heading to any of the available cities, you can get some savings if you plan correctly.

How much do you really save with CityPass?
If the tickets weren’t heavily discounted, they wouldn’t be worth the price. However, with the current discount, you can save some money if you select certain attractions from the available options.
Each city will have its own prices, attractions and restrictions. Whether you save money on a pass and whether it’s worth it depends on the time of year, whether you have children or not, and which attractions you choose. But this breakdown can give you an idea of how it works: a New York pass costs $140 after fees and taxes. You get free access to the Empire State Building andthe American Museum of Natural History , which cost about $44 and $28, respectively. You then get a choice of 3 of the following:
Top of the Rock Observation Deck ($40), Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferry Access ($24.30), 9/11 Memorial & Museum ($29), Circle Line Tour Cruises ($21-$24) USA), Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. ($36) and the Guggenheim Museum ($16 or free on Saturdays from 18:00 to 20:00).
If you choose the most expensive options above, the total cost is $177. This would make the $140 ticket $37; of course, you are limited to the options available in each city, and this assumes that you want to visit these attractions and would pay for them otherwise. On the other hand, if you had chosen the three cheapest options, you would have overpaid $7 for a pass (would be more if you ended up going to the Guggenheim Museum on a Saturday night).
Bottom line: make sure you research the activities included with your pass to calculate if you’re actually saving money by purchasing a pass (taking into account the actual sights you want to see, of course).
