If you’re an avid Netflix viewer, you probably know that the service isn’t all that great when it comes to organization. Like many apps and programs these days, you rely so heavily on a content delivery algorithm that it can be hard to find simple topics or genres that interest you. However, instead of using the Netflix categories, try using their secret codes. .
Now these secret codes are not hidden from you maliciously by Netflix. The company simply uses a code system to designate different categories of content. Each broad category has its own code (20 in total), but within each of these categories there are a number of hyper-specific categories with their own codes.
For example, the genre code for Action & Adventure on Netflix is 1365, but there are 14 subcategories in this category, including Movie Heist (20541), Action Spy Adventure (10702), and Comics & Superheroes. cinema” (10118). A total of 267 unique codes can be used. But where do you find them and how do you even use these codes?
How to Use Netflix Secret Codes for Better Watching
To view all 267 secret Netflix codes, go to Netflix-Codes.com . The site has all the codes organized by category so you can browse or quickly jump from category to category from the sidebar.
Once you have the code you want to use, you will need to return to Netflix. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to view Netflix codes in the app on your smartphone or tablet. These codes only work when watching Netflix from a desktop browser. Hopefully this will change in the future, but for now, you need to watch Netflix on your computer to take advantage of this trick.
