26 New Series That Everyone Will Watch This Year
Look, let’s be realistic: despite the pandemic, we won’t go to the movies like we used to. A lot of the dramas we bought tickets for have migrated to TV and expanded, and as a result, TV has become… pretty good . The list of new movies this year is tempting , but we’ll probably be fine if we instead sit at home and watch the new seasons of Euphoria , Outlander , Atlanta and Bridgerton . All of these returning shows are famous and popular for good reason, but it’s exciting to see the next big thing before it goes live. In that spirit, we’ve rounded up some of the most promising shows that will debut in 2022 because they have eye-catching venues and stars, they come from impressive behind-the-scenes talent, or are generally buzzy enough to arouse curiosity. Not all of them are guaranteed to hit the mark, but at least a few of them are sure to be the answer to Succession or Schitt’s Creek this year.
