How to Unlock Halo Infinite Hidden Multiplayer Modes Before Microsoft Destroys Them
Before the Halo Infinite story mode goes public, Microsoft is inviting users to multiplayer in the open beta, which has been running on Steam since November 15th. Halo Infinite launches you with 17 multiplayer modes by default, but if you launch the game with Steam installed offline, you get 14 more hidden modes.
These modes were discovered by Redditor WickedSoldier991 . While they are available offline, you can save them to a game file and access them when you launch Halo Infinite online.
And here’s the interesting thing: these are not just variations of the current cards. There is a brand new game mode called “Depletion” in which each team has a limited respawn pool and you can win by emptying them. Obliterate, a variation of Exhaustion mode, has a CS style without respawning over several rounds. There’s Tactical Slayer, a SWAT version of Halo Infinite, without shields or radars.
The company hasn’t officially announced these modes yet, so we don’t know how long they’ll be available with this hidden trick. We recommend that you save them to local storage as soon as possible before Microsoft decides to delete them.
Here is a list of all hidden modes.
- Arena: Depletion
- Arena: Bouncers of Attrition
- Arena: Elimination
- Fiesta: exhaustion
- Fiesta: CTF
- Fiesta: CTF with one flag
- Fortresses in Fiesta
- Rated: Liquidation
