We are looking for fast food not only because of its convenience, but also because of its reliability. Our favorite items are reliable and bring us the same pleasure no matter the place or time of night. French fries dipped in Wendy’s Frosty chocolate are one of the most stable forces in my life (I’m fine). Therefore, it is all the more painful that the supposedly correct menu items are taken away from us too early. Sometimes fast food restaurants threaten to end certain menu items in what looks like a blatant marketing ploy, while other times, favorite snacks disappear invisibly before you can even say goodbye.

In response to the cessation of support for favorites, Change.org petitions , Twitter hashtags, Facebook groups and more were sent out , all pushing these big fast food corporations to listen to their hungry customers. Don’t they want to make money? Why don’t they listen to us?
