22 Best Non-Halloween Films About When You Love Autumn but Hate Horror
Autumn has come (at least on paper), and I, for example, have … mixed feelings. Mild weather is fine and everything, as are the upcoming fall colors, but October is also a harbinger of winter. Not a fan. In the meantime, let’s make the most of it / detach ourselves from the horrible world by immersing ourselves in a bunch of those movies perfect for fall. Now, while I love horror movies and it’s definitely time for them, to be honest, it gets all too real for an awful long time so there is no shame in seeking entertainment, no vengeful ghost, no lone serial killer. … Films are lighter, more fun, warmer, and sometimes even uplifting. There are fall films to suit all kinds of moods, and not all are sweet and pumpkin-filled, but any good seasonal choice speaks to our need for something to help us get through dark evenings and darker times. Take a light blanket, or a warm drink, or a snack, or all of the above – you deserve to rest.
