Get TWO Krispy Kreme Donuts for Free With Vaccine Proof
Rejoice, at least partially vaccinated donut lovers, because Krispy Kreme is doubling down on its free donut program by giving away two donuts to anyone who gets at least one COVID-19 vaccine between August 30th and September 5th.
That’s right, the Show Your Heart event will include double donuts – the original glazed and the original glazed heart – and hopefully encourage the unvaccinated to get at least one injection, if not both:
Show Your Heart is Krispy Kreme’s latest proposal to support the country’s efforts to tackle the pandemic. Krispy Kreme became the first national brand in March to support those who protect themselves and others through vaccinations by offering a free original glazed donut – anytime, any day – to guests presenting a valid COVID-19 vaccination card at any Krispy Kreme store in the USA until 2021.
To date, Krispy Kreme has given away over 2.5 million donuts in the original glaze as part of their initiative. In 2020, Krispy Kreme donated over 30 million free donuts to healthcare professionals, teachers, alumni and others.
“We all hoped that by now the pandemic was drawing to a close. Were not. So, consider getting vaccinated if you haven’t already. Then enjoy two delicious donuts and share them with sincere gratitude, ”said Dave Scena, Chief Marketing Officer.
All you have to do is show the vaccination card and you will be given two whole glazed donuts (the best type of donut). Come back the next day with your card and you’ll get two more donuts! Repeat this every day from August 30 to September 5 and you will receive 14 free donuts. (Donuts don’t completely dry after September 5th – you can still get one free donut every day by showing the vaccine card for the rest of the year.)
I’m not sure if the free donuts are enough to convince die-hard vaccine opponents, but at least it’s a good reward for those who have fulfilled our civic duty and taken a hit. Eating two donuts every day for a week may not be the healthiest habit, but keep in mind that Krispy Kreme presents this as an option , not an errand, and refrain from cluttering the comment section with indecisive, tired and boring trolling anxiety. Don’t look into the hole for a gift donut, that’s what I’m saying.
(And don’t forget to tip. Donuts may be free, but the workers who make them still deserve a little reward and gratitude, especially during a pandemic.)
