How to Load the Dishwasher Correctly
Some people (especially college roommates and colleagues in the office kitchen) think that plates and silverware can be thrown back and forth in the dishwasher, what does it matter, in the end it will all get washed.
But this is not the case!
So, here’s a helpful visual guide that shows you how to maximize energy efficiency and keep clean. Just remember that water will rise from the bottom up, so tilt the surface for food in the direction of the cleaning agent. In addition, the force is greater for the bottom shelf, so things that might break or deform should end up on the top shelf.
Now you never have to remove dried food pieces or put the plate on a second cycle. Those days are over.
