This Free Mod Adds World of Warcraft Zones to Valheim

Valheim players worried that all the time they spend outside of World of Warcraft can now kill two birds with one stone. With a new free mod, you can explore your favorite worlds of Azeroth from everyone’s favorite Viking survival game.

A free mod called Valheim of Warcraft doesn’t change anything about the core gameplay of Valheim , but adds most of the World of Warcraft zones in Valheim as playable land masses. This includes Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, Quel’Thalas, Northrend, Pandaria, and more.

Please note that this import is not an individual recreation. The creator of the mod, called “Kromek” on the Nexus Mod website, says that each land area has been shrunk by about 20% to match Valheim , and space worlds such as Argus, Draenor, Outland and Shadowlands are not so far included. The Maelstrom is also technically there, but without its legendary whirling vortex.

A custom map launches players into a recreated version of Timeless Isle, which includes active portals to the various starting zones of World of Warcraft . From here, each zone has its own progression path and boss battles to go through, with additional portals that ferry you across the ground instead of World of Warcraft’s ship and airship routes.

However, you won’t find major cities, dungeons, or other structures to explore, although Kromek plans to add additional pre-built structures and populate the map with “burial chambers, sunken crypts, and goblin villages” where they would likely spawn. But since Valheim allows players to build their own cities, you and your friends can challenge yourself to recreate Orgrimmar, Stormwind and more right now.
