How Did You Do During the Recovery of Our Health?

This month we challenged you to tidy up your health , one small action at a time. If you followed suit, you were aware of your vaccinations and examinations , thought a little about meal planning , adjusted your sleep and morning routine , and changed your home office setup to better maintain your health.

I was most influenced by correcting my daily routine and morning routine. At first, my sleep was normal, but I am a night owl and do my morning exercises, so this is always difficult. After thinking about bedtime routine for this task, I came up with an amazingly effective plan: I stopped doing my main workout in the morning.

That meant I could sleep until 8am, which, coupled with some extra effort to get my sleep routine together, meant I started spending a blissful nine (!) Hours in bed every night.

I now know that exercise in the morning is very important for me to get myself into a good psychological space for the whole day, so I can’t just go straight out of bed to my desk. Instead of my morning workout, I go out for a walk as soon as I get dressed. It gives me a little exercise and a lot of sunshine. (If it rains, I either go out with an umbrella or jump on a stationary bike .)

As a result, I now sleep more than I used to, and my weightlifting workout now falls on a later day when it’s a little warmer – which is convenient since I still mostly do sports outside .

So now I would like to know: how did it go for you? Have any of these little daily habits created a moment of joy or inspired you to change your daily routine? Did the larger assignments help you understand the main problem in your life? Let us know below.
