Hack-O’-Lantern: Our Best Pumpkin Carving Tips
Introducing Hack-O’-Lantern, the simplest pumpkin decoration you can create this Halloween or any other.
You don’t even need a pumpkin carving kit for this, as you probably already have all the tools in your home:
- Ice cream spoon (to empty the insides)
- Grapefruit knife (for pruning)
- Tool for carving or a knife for cutting boxes (to indicate the details)
- Tracing paper and buttons (to transfer your design)
- Melon baller (to create strings)
- Peeler and lemon zest (for texture)
Always remember to empty the pumpkin from the bottom; this will prevent it from dropping. Also, use battery-powered candles because they are safer and last longer than spark plugs.
