Shit, moments from Zoom

With millions of children across the country participating in online classes rather than full-time school, there will inevitably be a ton of “unrecorded” classes. If this is your bag, check out this often hilarious and sometimes edgy Reddit, featuring thousands of heck of Zoom moments, including untimely farting, overheard fights between teachers and their spouses, and a host of annoying wardrobe disruptions.

Celebrities You’ve Never Heard Of: The D’Amelio Sisters

Don’t scold yourself if you don’t recognize the names of Charlie and Dixie D’Amelio. They are widely known, but no one over 20 has heard of them because this is how teen fame works.

Charlie’s quest for adolescent stardom began in March 2019 when she started uploading dance videos to TikTok, and within a year she was the most watched account there with over 87 million followers. Not bad for a 16 year old.

Dixie’s older sister started the family business later: she’s nineteen, but like her younger sister, Dixie gained millions of fans on social media, apparently within minutes of creating her account, including 18 million Instagram followers and over five million YouTube subscribers. … Dixie is a singer and her first single “Be Happy ” has been played 80 million times since it was posted on YouTube two months ago.

The sisters have already made enough money to live several lives, but they probably shouldn’t worry about spending it too quickly; Like all teenage stars, money and fame will surely last for the rest of your life.

Internet threat of the week: tartar

TikTok and YouTube users are trying to kill your child … or at least ruin their teeth. The newest trend, in which parents and sane adults are in full swing: Teens with ugly jaws file their own teeth with a nail file and share a video about it. If your mouth hurts just by thinking about it, don’t watchthese videos.

Thankfully, there is a balancing power of sanity on social media, including Bentist, the real dentist on Instagram and YouTube, whose shocked reaction video is priceless.

“Oh no,” the almost speechless orthodontist mutters, “you can’t do this to yourself … I don’t make excuses.”

Dentists say that applying a file to your teeth can lead to sensitivity, pain, nerve damage and tooth decay, but on the other hand, what do they know? Have you seen how expensive braces are these days? Maybe these kids noticed something. (It is not. Seriously, this is bad.)

TV Week: We Are Who We Are and Baby Yoda’s Return

If your kid doesn’t like the tender, real-life theatrical production and loves space battles, bounty hunters and baby Yoda, the trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2, coming soon to Disney +, was released this week.

Internet geeks have scrutinized the trailer, and some are predicting legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett will appear in Season 2.
