How to Register for Online Voting
With the November elections approaching, you need to prepare how and when you will vote. The easiest way to opt out of voting is to have an expired voter registration, so you should check your registration as soon as possible.
Fortunately, in every state it is very easy to check your status or get a new voter registration online.
Just go to vote.gov and select your state. You will be taken to a page that will allow you to enter some personal information (depending on your state) and will advise you if you need to renew your voter registration.
It also has useful information on deadlines, paperwork, and other resources to make sure your vote is counted on election day. As concerns grow over mailing, in-person voting and polling station malfunctions, having up-to-date voter registration is the first step towards a smooth voting process on November 3.
