Will This Contraption Really Keep Your Flakes From Getting Wet?
Cereal is now our official hit here at Hack or Wack. Just as you thought we couldn’t test any more methods for improving boxed haberdashery, Lifehacker found a way.
Take a look at CrunchCup , a thermos-like bottle that claims your cereal and milk are completely separate from each other prior to consumption. But will that really put an end to all our raw breakfast troubles?
The product has a 2-year warranty, a sticker and detailed instructions. This is a plastic screw cap bottle with a large outer milk chamber and a small inner cup that screws onto the flake storage lid.
The first thing we noticed is that the outside of the bottle (for milk) holds much more liquid than the inside cup (for dry flakes) needs. As Lifehacker Associate Editor Jordan Calhoun pointed out, the ideal flavor of your cereal depends on the ratio. From the start, it seemed like his Honey Nut Cheerios would drown him out.
So is CrunchCup an essential part of a full breakfast? Watch the video above to find out.
