How to Win Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta Code This Weekend
The Call of Duty League (CDL) championship will take place this weekend. Fans can tune in to watch the best Call of Duty: Modern Warfare teams compete live on August 29 and 30, while viewers have a chance to earn in-game rewards and possibly a spot in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold beta War. …
The items you can win for watching will be different over the weekend:
- Cheats for the CDL Champs Pack, which includes many in-game items and unique skins for Call of Duty Modern Warfare, will be given out to random viewers during Saturday’s broadcast.
- Black Ops Cold War Beta Codes will drop randomly during Sunday’s Championship match. Activision is giving away 10,000 codes, so viewers have a good chance of winning.
- All viewers will receive an exclusive in-game CDL Knife Blueprint for Call of Duty Modern Warfare by tuning in for at least 30 minutes on Sunday.

How to win in-game items and beta codes
To earn them, you need to sign in with an Activision account and watch matches on CallofDutyLeague.com (matches will also be streamed live on YouTube, but you won’t receive any special rewards by watching there). Here’s how to get everything prepared:
- Go to the CDL Championship website.
- Click the link to create an Activision account under the Sign Up banner.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to create and verify your new account (you can skip this and just sign in if you already have one).
- Next, you need to link your Xbox, PlayStation, or Battle.net accounts to your Activision profile. Log in to your Activision account and go to the Account Linking menu.
- Select the platform you want to link to your Activision account (you can only link one platform).
- Sign in with the account you are trying to link, then follow the instructions to complete the process.
- You can now earn in-game rewards during the CDL Championship Finals this weekend at CallofDutyLeague.com .
All rewards will be distributed via email, including a beta code for Black Ops Cold War. You will need to sign in and watch the stream to be eligible – or at least it should display that way .
We don’t know how Activision confirms that someone is actively watching, but streaming platforms can determine when viewers have video in the background or mute. As long as the stream is open and playing in your browser, you must be eligible to participate. Set up your computer and monitor to stay awake, and consider using an app like Caffeine to keep your screen alive if you plan on being away from your computer during matches. (You can even try something like Move Mouse if the virtual coffee is not enough to make the website think you are watching.)
