12 of Our Favorite Chrome Extensions
The Chrome Web Store is a mess , of course, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use legitimate extensions to improve your browser experience – be it Google Chrome or the more resource-friendly Microsoft Edge Chromium alternative.
As tempting as it may be to populate your browser with all the useful extensions you can get, this story about “resources” was not just my flimsy attempt at a joke: at some point you will want to strategize on your choices, because you probably do not want to slow down your browser scanning . I feel like I have a few too many extensions right now and I hope that working on this article will convince me to remove a few from the browser.
However, there are also some extensions that I think everyone should be aware of. They may be obvious to you; they may be brand new. You have to start somewhere, so I’m going to share the extensions I always use in the hopes that this will give you some gems (or a set of fills) to try.
If you have any suggestions for other extensions that you would protect at any cost, leave them in the comments! I’m always looking for this next great extension, and would be more than happy to check it out and share with other Lifehacker fans – if it’s cool, of course.
