How to Combine Points and Cash to Buy JetBlue Tickets
One of the most nerve-racking moments when booking a trip is the realization that you have accumulated points with your airline, but they are not enough to get you where you want to go. As travel reopens, airlines are coming up with various ways to encourage travelers to book flights. You usually have a choice between buying a ticket with cash or redeeming points or miles, but until now you have rarely been able to combine the two. JetBlue has begun offering TrueBlue members the option to use a combination of points and cash when purchasing tickets. It’s a much more convenient way to help your dollars and miles go further.
Even if you only have 500 points, JetBlue now offers a cash + points option.
This option is offered exclusively to TrueBlue members during the online booking process, which allows members to pay for flights operated by JetBlue using a combination of cash and TrueBlue points.
To take advantage of the benefits, you must sign in to your TrueBlue account at jetblue.com and select it at checkout. It is worth noting:
- There are no blackout dates.
- The paid portion will earn you additional TruBlue points.
- Cash + Points reservations cannot be combined with or eligible for any other promotional or bonus offer.
The Cash + Points program is subject to certain terms and conditions which you can readhere . JetBlue also reserves the right to change the number of TrueBlue Points required for redemption and / or the ticket price, or impose additional restrictions prior to booking.
