Protect Your Glasses From Fogging With This Mask
Wearing a face shield is a trashy but necessary part of life right now, and this annoyance is perhaps the most annoying for those who wear glasses. Simple breathing (which most experts consider very important) throws hot, humid air straight up from the mask onto the goggles, rendering them completely useless.
We recently tried several methods to prevent lens fogging caused by a mask , but found that most of the common methods were not very good.
Some swear by sticking their nose to nose with a tissue to trap moisture, but this is more of a temporary measure. The real tip is to simply buy a mask with a wire embedded in the bridge of your nose, which will then allow you to pull the top of the mask down and create a tight seal from all your wet dragon breath. If you use one of these wired masks (combined with the aforementioned flute breathing technique where you really start to puff and puff), you will be clean. Just make sure your hands are clean before tightening your nose, and try not to mess with it too much when you leave the house.
So where can you find one of these legendary wired masks? I’m a big fan of masks , which sells Baggu , but it seems that on Etsy also have tons of wire masks for faces. (Hell, if you’re feeling tricky, you can even makeyour own. ) Readers, if you’ve bought (or made) a wired face mask that you like, share the link in the comments, please.
