More Items Are Duplicated in This Animal Crossing Hack
Well, a week has passed, and Nintendo has not killed the latest hack Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which allows you to duplicate certain items for free. If so, or if you need a different method to duplicate every element you have – the Holy Grail of glitches – another has appeared. Here’s how to do it.
As always, watching the video while (or after) reading the description will probably be the best option for understanding this and doing it flawlessly. To get started, you will need to hire friends or family members to help you. You should all be sitting in the same room, and two or more of them are “registered” on your island – in other words, they should be able to have homes on your island, and you will all be traversed through the same Switch screen.
(You can technically do this glitch yourself too if you want to control additional players yourself. But doesn’t that seem lonely?)
This will probably eliminate this way of duplicating items for most people unless you want to undercut the inhabitants a bit on your filled island, but perhaps the premise of free unlimited items is too good to pass up.
In any case, once you are ready, send one to three of the items you want to copy to one of the real players on your island via the game’s mail system. Once they confirm receipt, call them near you using the Call Resident app on your NookPhone.
From there, as Nintendo Life describes:
“Make the mail recipient the leader and have them open their mail. They should open gifts and drop items on the ground, after which you should immediately use the Call Resident app again to play with a different player and not the mail recipient. Once they have entered the game, end the session; you should find that the items are still on the ground, and that if you repeat the process, the mail recipient will still have these items in their inbox, ready to have you do it all over and over again. “
Clear? If that still sounds a little tricky, here’s an accompanying video from YouTuber Do Whatever Games :
As always, there is no guarantee that this failure will last very long. So if you’re going to use it to create a workshop island full of expensive, resource-draining items, don’t waste your time. Otherwise, you will be returned to Stalk Market.
