How to Stream Today’s NFL Draft
The 2020 NFL Draft officially kicks off tonight. Round 1 starts at 8:00 pm ET, rounds 2-3 follow tomorrow at 7:00 pm ET, and rounds 4-7 start at noon ET on Saturday.
Due to COVID-19, this will be the first year that the draft will be exclusively online. Rather than gathering in Las Vegas, representatives from all 32 NFL teams will choose from their living rooms. NFL Commissioner Goodell will announce the election from his home in New York.
If you want to watch the draft live, you can catch all three days through coverage on ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Radio.
The simplest of these will be ABC, which is free to watch on the air if you have a cable subscription or a digital antenna. If you have one or the other – and, I suppose, a television – you can just tune in every day to keep an eye on what’s going on.
If you can’t access this broadcast, many streaming services – from Hulu to YouTube to Sling TV – offer access to ABC and ESPN. If you haven’t signed up for one of them yet, you can usually sign up for a free trial. Most of them are in the last 7 days, so you can get all the drafts and cancel before you have to pay anything.
Worth noting: ABC is not available on all streaming services in all markets. Before subscribing to a new service, make sure the channel you want to watch is supported in your area. If you’re already a subscriber to the service, now is also a good time to make sure you have access before the draft time comes and you risk missing out on excitement.
If you’re thinking of sticking around after this free trial ends, SlingTV is the cheapest option when it comes to paid streaming. The cost of the service starts at $ 30 per month. YouTube TV and AT&T TV Now are $ 50 / month after the trial ends, and Hulu with Live TV is $ 55 / month after the free trial.
