Michelle Obama Hosts a Weekly Fairytale for Children From Monday
Starting Monday, your kids can enjoy weekly virtual stories with former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Obama has partnered with PBS Kids and Random House to host weekly read-aloud series starting Monday, April 20. Obama will read one of his favorite children’s books every week. This week she will read Gruffalo, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Schaeffler.
Readings will be held every Monday for the next four weeks at 12:00 pm ET.
Here is the full timetable:
- April 20: Julia Donaldson’s Gruffalo, illustrated by Axel Schaeffler.
- April 27: There is a Dragon in Your Book by Tom Fletcher, illustrated by Greg Abbott.
- May 4: “Miss Maple Seeds” by Eliza Wheeler.
- May 11: “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Karl.
