Make Your Own Fruit Yogurt at the Bottom From a Nearly Empty Jam Jar
As an avid connoisseur of trendy jams and canned food, I don’t want to waste even a little of this sweet. If you find yourself in this awkward place where you don’t have enough for toast, you can eat for breakfast, just scoop up some plain yogurt on top.
By adding yogurt to the last slice of jam, you are essentially creating a do-it-yourself fruit yogurt cup at the bottom with delicious fruit. Just take your favorite plain yogurt – any variety will do – and pour it over the top of the jam, then whisk and stir both together for a delicious breakfast or snack. Yogurt helps to dissolve the sticky remains of a once filled jar so that they don’t go to waste.
If you have very thick yogurt (like labneh , that’s all I have right now), you can even spread the duo on toast. If you have two nearly empty jam jars, you can make a coordinating cocktail . If you have three? Well, maybe you just need to buy more jam and then repeat the whole process again.
