Do This Dumbbell Workout From Home
Did you enjoy our last home workout, but want to use those dumbbells that you hooked on before the pandemic? Here are five more movements that will work for whatever weight you have at home. Water bottles or cans are better than nothing, but if you have a pair of real weights, you are golden.
Together, these movements constitute a whole body workout:
- Bulgarian split squats (quads and glutes)
- Flexion and abs – 1 flexion + 2 presses (arms and shoulders)
- Single-leg deadlift (hamstrings and back)
- Press from the floor (chest and arms)
- Plank Row (Upper Back, Arms and Core)
Ideally, you will do each exercise for three sets of ten reps (or ten reps on each side for one-way movements). If your dumbbells are light, do as many reps as necessary to keep the workout challenging.
