If Your PC Won’t Boot, Uninstall This Windows 10 Update
According to numerous user reports of bugs , Windows 10 update KB4535996 contains several critical bugs that may prevent some users from using their PCs. Ironically (albeit predictably ), a patch was released to fix bugs that appeared in another update released earlier this year.
Some of the most serious bugs reported so far include:
- Slow loading times and downtime.
- Suddenly the system freezes and crashes.
- Unable to install programs and updates.
- Program crashes, especially the Sign Tool application
- Reduced graphics performance for games.
- Blue Screen of Death – Login errors and other random times.
The update has been available since February 27th, but it’s an optional update, so not all Windows 10 users have installed it – if you haven’t already, you might want to see if you can postpone the Windows update as long as possible.
If you have already installed the update and are experiencing any of the errors mentioned above, the only way to stop or prevent problems is to uninstall the update that contains the errors. Microsoft hasn’t released a fix yet, and even when they finally do it, it will probably still cause more bugs.
