How to Get Menu Bar in Edge Chromium
The new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser looks pretty slick, but Chromium is removing the usual menu bar behind the other buttons for a clean interface. You have to deal with an extra click to navigate to your browsing history, settings, or bookmarked pages. This isn’t the biggest problem in the browsing world, but it’s something you can change if you really want your browser to have a small menu bar next to your bookmarks and address bar.
First, install the Proper Menubar add-on . When you do this, your browser converts the left image to the right one:
The right menu bar adds a tiny, unobtrusive tabbed menu under the Edge address bar for opening and closing tabs, managing currently open pages, navigating to your bookmarks, opening history, and more – everything you could previously do immediately from the old UI. browsers back then.
If you want to go crazy, you can even add another menu bar below that menu bar, which gives you quick links to many Google services like YouTube, News, Gmail, Drive, etc. And you can even customize this one. list if you really don’t need a quick google search link (given that you can search directly from the Omnibar Edge.
