Follow Your Favorite TV Shows With This App
We use Google Home in our living room for essentially three things: timers, checking the weather, and determining when the next episode of a TV show should air. This week I came across a mobile app that can help with this question as well: Moviebase .
Moviebase has been around since 2017, but there have been many improvements lately.
The app works as a tool for finding TV shows and movies you want to watch, as well as a tracking tool where you can keep track of who you’ve watched and get notified when that next episode is due to air.
One feature that I especially love is the ability to add new episodes to your calendar. While this is definitely not the kind of feature I need for a show that currently airs weekly, when the shows I watch are on hiatus it will be much more useful.
The app also makes it easy to find shows and movies to watch featuring a specific actor you like and allows you to create multiple watchlists. For example, you might have one list of TV shows and movies that you want to watch on Date, and another for movies that you want to queue up for download for work travel.
None of the information you’re going to find here can be found with a good IMDb search or even a Google search, but the beauty here is that everything is in one place so you don’t end up in a bunch of different places to find it. …
